Sunshine Visiting Physicians launched their debut into Skilled Nursing Facilities and Rehabilitation Centers at The Palms Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on November 18, 2009.  The event was a smashing success.  Over 50 Assisted Living Facilities (ALF) located in the Lauderhill, Sunrise, Plantation, Tamarac and Central Broward area attended.   The purpose of the gathering was to introduce The Palms to facilities we service in their catchment area.  The Palms also insured the facilities in attendance that they were putting a system in place, to ensure that the ALF gets their patient back, when they’ve achieved their rehabilitation potential.  Sunshine’s Physicians are slated to begin making rounds at The Palms in January 2010.  Pictures from the event can be viewed on our Facebook page.   www.facebook.com  type Sunshine Visiting Physicians in the search bar.
